From La Grave - 1450 m
Nice walk in the forest which allows
to reach the refuge in about 3 hours.
By the Fréaux path - 1350 m
A sportier and more demanding path which
allows you to reach the refuge in less than 2h30!
From the Ruillans cable car station - 3200 m
Mineral atmosphere, obligatory stop at the Col du Lac for
an unforgettable view of the Girose glacier.
Count 1h30 of descent on a rocky path.
Small +: after the effort you can
refresh yourself at the Puy Vachier lake

Lodging
In addition to the traditional dormitories and the panoramic room, try the "donkey hut", a small private hut with 11 places 100m from the refuge.
Possibility to make you a picnic for your ride the next day.
